Talking about the above issue, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry (Ministry of Industry and Trade), said that over the past time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has implemented many solutions to overcome difficulties for businesses, promote supporting industries to increase the autonomy of domestic industries, and limit the impact of supply breakdown. The ministry is still finalizing and submitting to the Government many policies to help promote industry in general and supporting industries in particular.

“The Ministry of Industry and Trade is developing a draft amending and supplementing Decision 68 of the Government on the approval of the Supporting Industry Development Program from 2016 to 2025 (in the direction of extending the time to 2030); Strategy to build the textile and footwear industry. The ministry plans to submit these two documents to the Government this year, ”said Thanh.

According to Mr. Thanh, in addition to development strategies and programs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has now completed and submitted to the Government a Draft Resolution on solutions to developing Vietnam's mechanical engineering industry, on the basis of receiving closed comments. contributions from ministries, branches, associations and businesses; It is expected that this Resolution will be issued in 2020.

Along with that, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has also submitted to the Government a draft Decree amending and supplementing some of the contents of Decree 111/2015 / ND-CP on development of supporting industries, expected to be issued in 2020. The Ministry submitted to the Government to issue Resolution 115 on solutions to promote the development of supporting industries and Resolution 124 to promulgate the Government's Action Program to implement the Politburo's Resolution 23 on the construction orientation. national industrial development policy to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

“In order to find the market, units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade have actively coordinated with the trading system to deal with the output for businesses, and at the same time proposed to the Government some tax and fee policies such as 50% reduction. registration tax, delay of special consumption tax payment, ... to support enterprises to overcome the difficult epidemic ", Mr. Thanh pointed out immediate solutions.

At the same time, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh emphasized that in the last months of the year, the Ministry will promote restructuring in the fields of industrial production; in which, the focus is on the supporting industry. “Right now, it is necessary to focus on restructuring link chains to serve industrial production, especially some large Vietnamese manufacturing and processing industries such as textiles, footwear, electronics, furniture ... towards more sustainable direction with some partners such as Korea, Japan, India ..., avoiding too much dependence on one or a few partners or the market ", Minister Tran Tuan Anh said.
